Irise Dance Project believes everyone can benefit from the healing power of dance
Our various partnerships have provided us with the opportunity to educate and uplift people of all ages and backgrounds, furthering our mission to build empowered and caring communities through dance. Izizwe is particularly interested in providing African dance, drumming, and performance workshops to schools and community organizations.
Irise currently services the Greater Lawrence Community, Newburyport, and Cape Town, South Africa

Looking for Studio Space?
Located in the North Mill District of Lawrence, Irise welcomes community members who are in need of an accessible and professional studio space.
A second studio space is set to open January of 2026!

Along with our various programming for youth and dance artist’s, our studio space is home to healers, yoga instructors, break dancers, and various dance artists from the region who need a space to move and create.
