Offering accessible dance programs, professional training, and community platforms that inspire and empower youth and dance artists.
Irise offers high-quality dance education designed to build confidence, develop skills, and create new opportunities for children ages 2.5 to 18. Classes in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and African dance are offered on a weekly basis.
Classes take place at Izizwe Dance Studio and focus on building strong technique while fostering self-awareness and expressive movement. Our goal is to empower students, boosting their confidence through dance education and performance.
Scholarships are available for those who qualify. We do not turn any child away due to an inability to pay tuition.
Irise Dance Project believes everyone can benefit from the healing power of dance. Our various partnerships with schools and organizations have provided us with the opportunity to educate and uplift people of all ages and backgrounds, furthering our mission to build empowered and caring communities through dance.
